Commis & Chef de Partie Roles
Cheal’s Restaurant Knowle is recruiting for both a Commis Chef & Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team.
Working for a highly trained and award winning Head Chef you will work across all sections in the kitchen with the opportunity to develop your skills.
– 4 day working week, Thursday to Sunday
– 3 days off consecutively
– Free staff meal every shift
– A share of Tronc & Cash Tips
– 22.5 Days Holiday per year
– Christmas Day off
– First class training and development
– Fantastic culinary team using only the freshest ingredients
The Role
– Reporting to the Head Chef you will run your own section on either larder, garnish & sauce
– Use only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients
– Able to multi skill in the kitchen during busy periods
– Maintain a clean and tidy section throughout service
The Person
– Previous experience in a high end kitchen, ideally to AA rosette level or above
– Able to work unsupervised and train younger team members
– Good attention to detail
– Steady career showing progression

Waiting & Bar Staff
Cheal’s Restaurant Knowle is recruiting for Waiters & Bartenders to join our passionate team.
Working for a highly trained and experienced management team you will be in charge of running your own dedicated section. Providing first class service and developing a rapport with all of your guests.
– 4 day working week, Thursday to Sunday
– 3 days off!

The Role
– Managing your section during lunch and dinner shifts
– Taking orders, explaining dishes to guests and maintaining your tables
– Train inexperienced team members to assist you
– Full understanding of our food & cocktail menu
– Make all drinks including cocktails to the correct spec

– Help develop the in house cocktail menu
– Serve wine and other drinks to the restaurant tables
The Person
– Previous experience in a high end restaurant, ideally to 2 AA Rosette Level or above
– Able to work unsupervised and train younger team members
– Good attention to detail
